Our History
Founded by respected solicitors the Late Ian Marjason and Henry Marjason, the firm was established on the belief that legal services should be personal, accessible, and grounded in integrity. Over the years, Marjason & Marjason has grown steadily with Henry Marjason and Faraz Jafri now leading the firm while remaining true to its core values: honesty, professionalism, and unwavering support for clients.

Ian Marjason was more than a founding partner of Marjason & Marjason Solicitors — he was the heart of the firm’s values and a trusted advisor to generations of clients in Queanbeyan.
With a legal career spanning decades, Ian was known not only for his sharp legal mind but also for his unwavering commitment to fairness, professionalism, and compassion. He believed deeply in the power of the law to serve and protect individuals and families, and he practised with a rare combination of humility and strength.
Ian’s legacy lives on in the many clients he helped, the colleagues he mentored, and the firm he helped build. His calm presence, wise counsel, and genuine care for others continue to inspire everything we do.
He is dearly missed but never forgotten.
